About the Artwork

I originally found a copy of The Last Supper at a thrift store and knew I had to give it a completely new life.

Now set inside Bob's Burgers, this painting reimagines Leonardo da Vinci's iconic scene with Christ and the apostles seated at the restaurant counter, preserved in classical detail while Bob kneels in the foreground clutching a rosary, consumed by quiet desperation.

He's one day away from eviction.

The apostles become divine visitors whose presence—whether miracle or metaphor—may be Bob's final hope... his saving grace.

The restaurant itself tells another story.

Louise's pink bunny ears hang framed on the wall, quietly revealing that the children have grown up and moved away. Gene's childhood treasures and Tina's erotic fan fiction journal remain tucked beneath the counter, preserved like relics of happier years. Even the calendar silently counts down toward Bob's unraveling.

This piece blends humor, heartbreak, faith, nostalgia, and pop culture into a single moment suspended in time.

About the Artwork:

I transformed this old thrift shop painting into a Scooby-Doo inspired painting! I loved watching Scoob and the gang solve mysteries growing up... I thought I was just watching one of my favorite shows, but I didn’t realize I was learning about fear and courage...chaos and order... and the importance of friendship and teamwork. Scooby-Doo taught me its okay to be scared... Life is scary!! Sometimes the only thing that helps is having a good companion to help you escape the mystery.

About the Artwork:

There’s a moment at the end of every day when the light softens and everything feels suspended almost like time itself is holding its breath. The golden hour captures that moment between life and death... between holding on and letting go... a moment of catharsis.

What began as a quiet thrift store painting of a boy and his dog fishing in a lake, has transformed into an emotional farewell to two of pop culture’s most beloved friends... Shaggy and Scoob. Now, aged and weathered by time, they sit side by side beneath a setting sun. Behind them, three unmarked graves rest under the warm glow of dusk. We all know who lay beneath...

In the distance, the Mystery Machine sits rusting in the field, a relic of the life they once lived and the adventures they once chased.

In Shaggy’s hand is a worn Polaroid photo... a fragile window to the past. On his arm, a faded homemade tattoo reads “RIP VELMA” etched by his own trembling hands years ago. And on the ground, and old box of Scooby Snacks... taped, torn, and finally empty. This was a final snack of solace, saved for a special last moment together with Scoob like a sacred relic. This piece is more than nostalgia... it’s a meditation on love, memory, and mortality. A reminder that life’s beauty exists because it ends.

The Golden Hour isn’t about loss. It’s about acceptance. It’s about peace that comes when we finally realize that every mystery, even the final one, was worth solving.

About the Artwork:

This painting began its life over 125 years ago— then it sat, forgotten buried beneath time in a closet waiting for a second chance. What you’re looking at now is something completely new. A quiet moment, frozen in time— between a father and a son. Homer slumps over in his chair surrounded by his usual comforts, beer, donuts, and the sweet sound of apathy. Across from him is Bart. Forever the rebel. The rule breaker… slightly older now, and looks like he has put down the slingshot. His spray can has evolved into a paint brush, and what was once a silly hobby has become a true artistic calling. Bart is doing something we’ve never seen him do before… he is capturing his father. But hes not trying to paint the man he sees, he’s painting the version of his father he wants to remember for years to come. In the oldest part of his heart, Bart believes there is still a hero somewhere inside of his dad eaten long ago by the whale. Truth is Bart is afraid of becoming the man in the chair. Amid a mid life crises; lost somewhere between grasping onto his favorite childhood memories and trying not to become all the things he hates most about his parents… Bart wants to be better than Homer. Not only to honor his father, but to save him from the belly of the whale… Bart unexpectedly paints his fathers portrait based off of Marge and Homer’s wedding photo hanging in the background revealing the idea that Bart just wanted his dad to sit with him while he painted so he could enjoy his company.

I originally purchased this painting off of Facebook Marketplace. I took it home, and with the help of my online community, I completely transformed this painting into a piece of modern art inspired by one of our favorite classic childhood comfort shows The Simpsons. Thank you to everyone who made a suggestion along the way or left a word of encouragement in the comments. Your support means the world to me.

About the Artwork:

This painting reimagines the Iron Giant as a haunting meditation on life, death, and legacy. What began as a forgotten thrift store find has been transformed into a deeply symbolic artwork, layered with storytelling details: Hogarth’s abandoned home, the Iron Giant’s rusted remains, a “free box” filled with childhood relics, and the words “SOULS DON’T DIE” carved into a tree. This piece blends pop culture with universal truths we all must face. This piece isn’t just a reminder of The Iron Giant — it’s a reminder to us all. It reflects on the fleeting nature of time, the inevitability of change, and the truth that while our belongings, and even our bodies fade, our choices and connections live on.
