I transformed this old painting that I found into a new painting to represent the conflict between science and religion. Originally, the church was in a field of flowers and I turned it into an abandoned church floating through space. My intention with this piece was to capture two opposing opinions in one scenario to show acceptance of diversity. I think that there is a healthy balance to be achieved between both science and spirituality; in fact, I think science and religion can work together to achieve an even higher understanding of nature in general.
