I originally found this painting in a thrift shop, and it was just a painting of a lady picking flowers… I added to it and transformed it into a painting to represent climate change. This lady is a nature lover, but her reality has completely changed as a result of greedy corporations and corrupt elites running the world in a destructive manner. She is out on a walk through the wastelands, and decides to visit one of her old favorite look out spots… she reminisces and tries to pretend to be back in her memories, but she can’t ignore the fact that now she looks at the world through a gas mask, and her view is a constant reminder of her dystopian reality.
